How to reach Jhari Falls
Jhari waterfall is 266 km from Bengaluru and 22 km from Chikmagalur. Kadur Junction is the nearest railway station (58 km) and Mangaluru is the nearest airport (178 km). Taxi can be hired from Kadur or Chikmagalur to reach Jhari waterfall. The last 5 km to Jhari falls are accessible only via private jeeps which are chargeable. Trekking to the falls is another option, As this waterfall is hooked in one corner of a coffee plantation, be prepared to hike for 3 kilometers from the parking lot.
